Winter is just about the worst time for dry lips. Some combination of wind and cold just seem to suck all the moisture out of our lips. How to get it back? It sounds obvious, but always use balm. And for SUPER dry lips, the best thing to use is Aquaphor by Eucerin. This stuff is amazing. And the best part is, it comes in a pocket size, like a lip gloss. You can apply it and it just looks like a clear gloss.

Sunscreen. One of the most confusing skincare products out there, there are about 5 million kinds of it on the market (kidding), and it can be hard to figure out the right kind for your skin. This is a guide to the right sunscreen for you.

• I use Ulta SPF 100 Dry Touch Sunscreen Lotion on my body and Ulta SPF 80 Dry Touch Faces Sunscreen Lotion on my face. They protect really well and don’t smell obnoxious like other sunscreens I’ve tried do.
• For people who don’t burn as easily as I do, I recommend Neutrogena SPF 55 Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunblock. It leaves absolutely NO residue on your skin and doesn’t go on greasy.
• Even if you have darker skin, still wear some kind of sunblock. Do an SPF 15 or 30 sunscreen, like Neutrogena’s.
• Don’t forget your lips! Use a lip balm or gloss to prevent burns on your lips.

First of all, I just want to say that the one time you should not wear makeup is when you don’t want to. But what if you want to wear some makeup, but don’t want to look overdone? An easy hairstyle is a ponytail  with random pieces out of it. Most of the beauty I do during the day involves lip gloss because it looks less intense and serious. For eyes, put on a delicate coat of mascara and a shadow close to your skin shade. If you want, swipe on blush or bronzer and go!
